Monday's 5 Favourite things
Today is the first Monday in Berlin that has felt like the depths of autumn, if not the early beginning of the deeper winter cold. My 5 favourite things today consist of ideas to make autumn more interesting in terms of style and food. WARNING: I wouldn't recommend jumping into the sea like in the final photograph ... could make autumn more interesting, but could also result in a serious chill!
Anyone know who this photo is by? I couldn't find a source!

Bright Blue Mascara
Blue mascara is my new obsession. While most of my friends are somewhat cynical about it, for dark to medium brown eyes, it is amazing! You can go for a more light coverage (upper two images) or for a completely thick and heavy coverage (bottom photo). I prefer the latter, with no other eye makeup.
Here are some good makes:

Food Chronicles: Home-made chocolate bars
The search for good confectionary continues. I wanted a mix of everything, dark, milk and white chocolate. But nothing was fulfilling my chocolate needs. So, I decided that if you want something, you have to do it yourself.
Here are my homemade chocolate bars. As easy as pie!
Ingredients:
400 grams of dark chocolate
400 grams of milk chocolate
100 grams white chocolate
Rich tea biscuits (or equivalent)
What you will need:
baking dish
double boiler (pan that can fit in another pan)
Step one. Place water into bottom pan and put on the stove on a medium heat.
Step two. Place dark chocolate in top pan and place top pan over bottom pan in water.
Step three. The chocolate should slowly melt, once fully melted pour into baking dish.
Step four. Crumble biscuits and place over dark chocolate.
Step five. Melt the milk chocolate in the same way, and place on top of biscuit layer.
Step six. Cling film the chocolate dish and leave in fridge for two hours at least.
Step seven. (after the two hours) Melt the white chocolate in the same way.
Step eight. Take a small amount of melted white chocolate on a spoon and shake accross top of milk chocolate layer, as decoration.
Step nine. Leave for another hour in fridge Step ten. cut into bars and EAT
