Bright Blue Mascara

Blue mascara is my new obsession. While most of my friends are somewhat cynical about it, for dark to medium brown eyes, it is amazing! You can go for a more light coverage (upper two images) or for a completely thick and heavy coverage (bottom photo). I prefer the latter, with no other eye makeup.

At the moment I am rather taken by the combination of gold and turquoise earrings. The perfect addition to a desperately plain outfit!

While the first two sets are from Zara and Forever 21 and are both available in the UK, the 3rd is vintage Chanel available froma dealer in the US and the final (my favourites!) are handmade by an amazing company called Angel Court, also in the US... I may email them and ask if they do delivery to UK or Europe. If I do, I will let you know the response!

What I want Wednesdays

As many of you may have seen around the web, this shape of court shoe with ankle fastening is extremely popular right now. While I am not a huge fan of the plain black, patent leather ones that seem to be doing the rounds at the moment - they look so corporate! I absolutely adore these red and black Vamp shoes from Zara. 

At only 39.99 GBP, they are definitely the first thing I am buying when I get paid this month. 11 days encouting until they are mine...

Fake Tan smells like Fish Food

What on earth does fake tan smell like? There is a lingering stale smell to it.. kind of like some sort of savory food. Someone please put me out of my misery and give me an exact fit! The closest I can think of is fish food. Not Ben and Jerry's but the kind goldfish munch on.

Any ideas?

Today, I will be as happy as a bird with a french fry.

After months of looking through blog after blog for work, I decided I have had ample inspiration and that I should take the plunge and start my own. Here it is. I am hoping in the future that it will involve more baking and my own photos.. but the latter may well need a bit more practice. Voila! My first post.

 Having really enjoyed the summer, I am most definitely not ready to let go completely. But no one can deny that the gloom and doom of autumn and, dare I say it, winter is looming. Put together this outfit - an easy transition from colourful summer style to someone warmer.

I love the pink! Anyone else got any colourful yet fitting pieces for autumn?
